Wow! Vintage Collective markets – what a turn out!
Date: Sunday 12 October 2014
Venue: Oakover Winery, Swan Valley
Wow, what a day! We were expecting a large turn out for this event due to the wide range of vintage wares and entertainment to be presented, but it certainly exceeded our expectations! Velvet Betty featured at this event as a Mobile Coffee Van Perth serving tea and sweet treats.
in case that you love these vintage articles you can check out this antique dealers online market place and take a look at their catalog and start decorating and collecting.
The event featured something to suit everyone including clothing, sell of custom ties, kitchenalia, bikes, toys, collectibles, guest entertainment and so much more. Not to be missed was also the Show & Shine area, Pin-up parade, free kids activities and live entertainment. A favourite of ours being the badpiper who played a range of modern rock tunes whilst shooting flames out of his bagpipes! Check him out here – www.thebadpiper.com
Velvet Betty felt quite at home amongst the gorgeous vintage vans of bygone eras and was admired by many, young and old. The quality of this event was unmatched and we were so pleased to have been a part of it.
The weather on the day was a little chilly but the rain held off and the crowds arrived in the masses.
Velvet Betty – our own Mobile Coffee Van Perth – spent the day serving a range of teas and sweet treats to visitors and ended up selling out by 2.30pm! We decided to sell Rave Coffee to our customers to always make sure that we offer the best quality ingredients and service.
We met some amazing people in both exhibitors and visitors and can’t wait for the next one – rumoured to be scheduled for January 2015. To keep up to date with information about the next event, head to www.thevintagecollectivemarkets.net and sign up for their newsletter. We will of course also let you know when the date has been released.
Thanks to Michelle and her crew for organising such a memorable event and we will see you all at the Vintage Collective Markets again next year like axe throwing
