Date: Saturday 11 October 2014
Venue: Myalup Pines

From the moment we arrived, we knew that this wedding was going to be one to remember! Velvet Betty – mobile bar perth – was invited to keep the drinks flowing from before the ceremony and throughout the reception. We also provided a selection of large lawn games – giant Scrabble, giant Connect 4 and giant Dominos – to keep the guests from both sides mingling.

With an eclectic mix of lounge suites set out in the beautiful surrounds of Myalup Pines and an afghan rug aisle leading to a picturesque archway, we all agreed this was a perfect match for our Velvet Betty.

By 3pm, guests had already arrived (many of them staying in the available chalets) and milling around in casual attire, ready to take a seat and enjoy the relaxed ceremony with drink in hand. The nuptials were followed by live music, lawn games and plenty of drinks served by our vintage mobile bar, Velvet Betty.

Our view for the evening. :)

A special mention has to go to the bride Emma, who prepared all of the food (a delicious vegan, Mexican feast) and made the cake herself! A favourite part of the evening for us, besides serving the lovely mix of guests, was seeing the couple personally cut and serve their own wedding cake. This truly expressed the down to earth nature of the couple.

Music and dancing continued into the night and as Velvet Betty drove away, we were delighted to be cheered and waved off by the gorgeous guests!

The chosen photographer for this wedding was Still Love Photography and we can’t wait to see some of the gorgeous photos once they have been released! Check them out at www.stilllove.com.au.

Definitely a wedding to remember. Congratulations Andrew & Emma and thank you for including Velvet Betty in your special day!
