Soul Collective Launch Party
If you’ve met Tayla and Alyssa from Soul Collective you’ll know they’re a duo beyond compare. As complementary in skills and strengths as me and Marta, those two gems have created a magical, heavenly space in Mt Lawley that we CAN NOT get enough of.
When we first saw it on Insta we KNEW we wanted to be part of it, and tbh we’re not ashamed to say we practically begged them to let us roll our gorge van right on in. We reached out to Tay after seeing an Insta Post about their event space and straight away we felt like old pals (gawd she’s a treasure).
Little did we know, that event space was set to be one of the most beautiful, welcoming spaces we’ve ever had Betty in. After exchanging excited messages all morning (and when we say morning, we mean it - we were back and forth with Tay from 7 o’clock!) that same day we were onsite measuring up the outdoor space to make sure our precious Betty would fit in. And fit in she did.
Soul Collective and Velvet Betty pairing up was a full body yes right from moment one. We’ve got ourselves some life long buddies there, and boy can those gals throw a party!
The Soul Collective Launch was epic - if you were there, you’ll know. And if not, come to their next event!!! You will not regret it, we promise.
On the menu: Two signature cocktails - the Betty Collective and the Velvet Soul, plus processo, wine, home made lemonade and iced tea.
Drink of the day: The Betty Collective was the winner - we reckon it was the rosemary and blueberry garnish that did it.
Best bit: Those treasures Alyssa and Tay, followed closely by the entertainment they lined up! Lolly Moon Burlesque had us charmed, Artful Ink Tattoo Artists had us this close to entering the tattoo raffle (we haven’t got a tattoo between us!) and the Crystal Cake from Andrea Cake Atelier has us drooling - beautiful AND delicious.
Lessons learnt: The right clients will find their way to us, and us to them. Also, too many Betty Collectives are never enough!
